What to expect

Welcome to Adventure Collective, where travel isn’t just about ticking off bucket-list sights—it’s about transformation, connection, and the kind of “I can’t believe this is my life” moments that stay with you forever.

Here’s what it feels like to be part of the Collective:

Land like a VIP – From the moment you arrive, you’re covered. No deciphering signs or awkward solo taxis, someone will be waiting to whisk you to our first boutique home base. We’ll even zip you through the fast track at the airport so you start your journey feeling calm, cared for, and a little bit like royalty.

A welcome dinner that feels like a reunion – Except you’ve never met. Picture a buzzing table of like-minded women, laughter rising over shared plates and local wine. We’ll gather in one of Marrakech’s charming restaurants that locals themselves love, where the magic begins, stories spill, walls drop, and new friendships take root.

Your own space (if you want it) – You’ll share a room with one amazing new friend (no bunk beds here), but private rooms are available if solo recharge time is your jam.

Choose your pace – Some days, we’ll adventure together. Other times, you’ll follow your curiosity—maybe it’s a seaside coffee, a moment with your journal, or a local experience from the Destination Guide. We build in breathing room on purpose.

Meet the locals, not just the landmarks – We don’t just visit places; we connect with the people who call them home. That means learning about Amazigh heritage and traditions, and spending time with the Assafou Association, a nonprofit that shares the stories and everyday work they rarely open to visitors: from women’s empowerment to education in the High Atlas.

Travel solo, but never alone – You may arrive solo, but you’ll leave with a Collective of incredible women who just get you. These friendships run deep—and often far beyond the final day.

Get ready to feel Connected. Brave. Inspired. Alive.
This isn’t just a trip. It’s a turning point.

Women laughing and raising glasses at a lively group dinner, capturing the joy and connection of shared travel moments.

Daily Itinerary

  • About 3–4 weeks before departure, we’ll hop on a virtual Collective Connection Call—a first taste of the magic ahead. You’ll meet your fellow travelers, get cozy with your Collective Compass (our transformational travel journal), and set soulful intentions for your journey. This isn’t a boring info dump—it’s where we start to soften, release, and remember who we really are.

Your journey starts before your suitcase is even zipped. Transformation doesn't wait for takeoff.

  • Touch down in Marrakech—The red city of Morocco. A private driver will be waiting at the airport to whisk you straight to our boutique hotel—no stress, no guesswork, just a smooth start to your adventure.

Marrakech was founded in 1070 as the capital of the Almoravid Empire, separating it from the Sahara Desert via the Atlas Mountains.

However, wealthy Sultans added to the architecture 500 years after its birth with grand palaces and magnificent tombs, making Marrakech a fascinating destination with a wide range of exciting activities.

Over the past ten years, Assafou positively changed the lives of hundreds of children and rural women. Its success is due in large part to its deep knowledge of the region, its close collaboration with the local authorities and Associations, and most importantly, a well-established and trusted relationship with the local population. Having experienced, Berber-speaking staff on the ground and among the volunteers is also one of its great assets. Assafou Association’s work focuses on three important areas: (a) Children Education; (b) Integration of Women; and (c) Rural Development. Today, Assafou has 11 educational centers in the Al-Haouz region.

Assafou also provides warm clothes, school supplies, uniforms, and maintains its

centers, so the parents and villagers do not have to.

  • Morning at leisure before taking the road for our last night in the heart of the Agafay Desert. Afternoon & unlike the dunes of the Sahara Desert which take hours to reach, the Agafay with its stony Hamada-style desert offers a stunning landscape to relax, unwind, and watch the setting sun – you’ll feel a world away from Marrakech even though it’s only a 45-minute drive. The adventure starts with a Camel ride…enjoy the most beautiful sunset over the Agafay Desert overlooking the High Atlas Mountains.

Spend the night in a charming bivouac of a dozen oriental-inspired tents in the most beautiful corner of Morocco. Dotted amongst the desert landscape, the spacious and comfortable tents are decorated with uniquely sourced pieces and locally crafted artwork to form a harmonious whole with their surroundings, giving the impression of being on an expedition from another time.

Meet your trip host

 Lindsay

Hey there! I’m Lindsay, and I’ll be your guide, host, hype woman, and logistics ninja on this adventure.

After years planning, guiding, and curating transformational trips around the world, I created Adventure Collective to bring together like-minded women through travel that’s intentional, immersive, and connection-driven.

This trip isn’t a package pulled from a catalog—it’s a curated collection of my favorite places, people, and experiences, and I can’t wait to share them with you.

A few fun things to know about me:

  • I take my coffee very seriously. (If you need espresso tips, I’ve got you.)

  • I have a dog named Leo who’s probably having FOMO while I’m on this trip.

  • I’ve traveled to 58 countries and believe the best stories start when you say “yes” to something unexpected.

More than anything, I believe in the power of community and courage—and that travel can be the spark that changes everything.

Let’s do this. Let’s make some ridiculous, heart-expanding memories together.

Person wearing a textured dark gray coat and green sweater, smiling with hands in pockets.

Got questions?

We’ve got
answers

  • If you’re a woman who’s ready to make herself a priority—maybe for the first time in a long time—you’re in the right place.

Most of our travelers are from the U.S. and in their 40s and 50s, though age is just a number here. What actually matters? That you show up with an open heart, a curious spirit, and a kind, uplifting energy.

We’re all about building a community where women support each other, not compete. So if you’re someone who cheers others on, leans into real connection, and believes there’s room for all of us to shine—you’ll fit right in.

Whether you’re flying solo or bringing a friend, you’ll be surrounded by thoughtful, adventurous women here for something meaningful: deeper conversations, slower mornings, and a shared sense of “I’ve been needing this.”

If that sounds like your kind of adventure… welcome to the Collective. You’ve found your people.

  • Solo travelers, rejoice. Most of our adventurers come solo, so you’ll never feel like the odd one out. From the moment you sign up, we help you connect with your fellow travelers through our online trip forum, virtual “Trip Talks,” and optional pre-trip meetups.

Bringing a friend? Absolutely. While most women come solo, all are welcome—whether you’re adventuring with your sister, your college bestie, or someone you just met in yoga class. You do you.

  • In short: the adventure of a lifetime—minus the stress.

We handle the details so you can just show up and soak it all in. Here’s what’s covered:
✔ Boutique 4-star accommodations full of charm (no beige hotels here)
✔ Daily activities and immersive experiences with expert local guides
✔ Most meals, including welcome and farewell dinners
✔ All on-the-ground transportation (yes, ferries too!)
✔ A pre-trip connection call so you’re not traveling with strangers
✔ Your own Collective Compass travel journal, mailed before departure
✔ Soulful group circles during the trip
✔ Three or more post-trip virtual check-ins to keep the transformation going
✔ A founder-hosted experience, with Lindsay leading the way
✔ Private transfers to/from the airport or ferry terminal

    What’s not included:
    ✘ International flights
Travel insurance (though we strongly recommend it)
✘ A few free-time meals + anything sparkly you buy in a seaside boutique
    ✘ Cocktails and personal expenses

  • Great question—and we like a woman who plans ahead.

Here’s the payment breakdown for the Greece Connection:

    • Deposit: $1,000 due at booking (this secures your spot!)

    • Second payment: $2,495 (shared room) / $2,995 (private room) due October 15, 2025

    • Final payment: $2,495 (shared) / $2,995 (private) due January 15, 2026

    • Late payments: A $200 fee applies if payments are delayed.

    • Travel insurance: Strongly recommended. We partner with Wanderwell, a B Corp–certified provider backed by Nationwide. They’ve got your back when life throws curveballs.

  • We get it—life happens. While we hope you won’t need to cancel, here’s exactly how it works for this trip:

    • Your $1,000 deposit is fully refundable within 14 days of booking (minus a $50 processing fee).

    • After that, all payments are non-refundable. This is because we pay our local partners well in advance to reserve boutique hotels, expert guides, and exclusive experiences just for our group.

    • A $200 late fee applies for any missed payment deadlines.

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your trip investment. We partner with Wanderwell Insurance, a B Corp–certified provider backed by Nationwide, to give you peace of mind in case the unexpected happens.

No hidden fees. No fine print surprises. Just a clear, respectful policy that allows us to support our partners and create an unforgettable experience for you.

  • Technically? No.
    Practically? 100% yes.

This trip is a big investment in yourself—and life can be unpredictable. Travel insurance helps cover the unexpected (like flight delays, illness, or needing to cancel last-minute).

We recommend Wanderwell, a B Corp–certified provider backed by Nationwide. They know adventure travel and offer plans designed with real-life travelers in mind.

You’re welcome to use any provider, but we strongly recommend that you’re covered. Peace of mind is a beautiful travel companion.

  • Let’s be honest—half the magic of an AC trip is who you meet. Most guests will share a room with another incredible woman who’s here for the same reason you are: meaningful connection, deep belly laughs, and a little soul-sparking adventure.

    But if you’re more of a journal-in-bed, starfish-sleeper type, we’ve got you.
For $1,000 extra, you can claim your own private room for the Greece Connection. Just select the private room option in the booking form, and voilà—privacy secured.

Thinking about extending your stay in Santorini?
That dreamy program is designed for unwinding solo, so private rooms are included by default. (Cue the sunrise views and long, slow breakfasts.)

So whether you’re rooming with a new soul sister or flying solo, you’ll be in good company.

  • Greece Connection is more slow stroll than strenuous summit. If you’re up for relaxed days of exploring, a bit of walking through ancient ruins or coastal villages, and maybe a dip in the Aegean, you’ll be just fine.

There’s no hiking, no biking, no cliff diving (that we know of)—just enough movement to feel good and make room for another scoop of gelato. Most activities are leisurely and optional, with plenty of time to pause, journal, sip wine, or nap under a bougainvillea.

Need a little more detail? Just ask—we’re happy to help you decide if this trip is the right pace for you.

  • Yes, and we’re glad you asked.

The Santorini extension is a 2-night add-on for guests who want to soak in a little more magic before heading home. While it's unhosted, we take care of:

    • Transfers from Naxos to Santorini and Santorini to the airport

    • A private room at a beautiful 4-star hotel

    • A small group caldera cruise excursion

    • A curated Santorini Destination Guide with local tips, restaurants, and things to do

This is prime time to slow down, reflect, and take it all in—whether that means solo beach walks or grabbing a sunset dinner with new friends who are also staying on. You get to decide how you spend this beautiful finale.

More details (including price and how to add it) are coming soon. But yes—it’s as dreamy as it sounds.

  • Perfect. You’re exactly who this trip is for.

You don’t need a passport full of stamps to join us—just a curious spirit and a willingness to say yes to something new. Many of our travelers are stepping outside their comfort zones for the first time in years (or ever), and we’re here to make sure you feel supported every step of the way.

Here’s how we’ve got you covered:

    • A pre-trip connection call where you’ll meet the group, ask questions, and feel at ease before departure

    • A travel checklist with everything from passport tips to what to pack (and what to leave behind)

    • A private group email thread for sharing excitement, outfit questions, and airport snack recommendations

    • Founder-led guidance—you’ll be with Lindsay from start to finish, not handed off to a stranger at the airport

If you’re nervous, that’s okay. That just means it matters.
This experience is designed to be empowering, not overwhelming—and you won’t be doing it alone.
